Backups, export, moving to another PC
«

I have a thingamablog site on PC#1 and need to move it to PC#2.
It raises the whole issue of exporting, what do I backup etc.
I am using version 1.0.2 and the export is greyed out for me.
I realise it puts stuff in "My Documents" but what is required if I wish to backup Thingamablog data ?
thanks

Hi,
Make sure to back up the folder in which you originally created the blog. This folder should contain a file named “user.xml”, one or more numbered folders (194343...) and a folder named “database.”
After copying the folder over to the second computer, you'd then simply open the user.xml file in TAMB. e.g File/Open Database...

Thanks Bob. I guessed on the database directory & the "numbered" directory but missed the user.xml file.
Still have no idea how/when "export" function works but your answer is just what I want.
