Failure to Publish

This one has me stumped, and I cannot see a way around it. I added some changes to the blog templates and some php programs to upload. Then I tried to publish the blog. It fails to publish every time, with the following error showing up in random places during the upload. Here is a snippet of the log.
Code:
Publishing: entry_9.php -> /public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/11/
CMD : ---> PWD
REPLY: 257 "/public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT" is your current location
CMD : ---> CWD /public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/11/
REPLY: 250 OK. Current directory is /public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/11
CMD : ---> TYPE I
REPLY: 200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
CMD : ---> PORT 192,168,1,43,157,236
REPLY: 200 PORT command successful
CMD : ---> STOR entry_9.php
REPLY: 150 Connecting to port 50598
REPLY: 226-File successfully transferred
REPLY: 226 0.141 seconds (measured here), 38.56 Kbytes per second
Publishing: entry_1.php -> /public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/10/
CMD : ---> PWD
REPLY: 257 "/public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/11" is your current location
CMD : ---> CWD /public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/10/
REPLY: 250 OK. Current directory is /public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/10
CMD : ---> TYPE I
REPLY: 200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
CMD : ---> PORT 192,168,1,43,232,17
REPLY: 200 PORT command successful
CMD : ---> STOR entry_1.php
REPLY: 500 Unknown command
Error publishing file to /public_html/brian/blogs/NHAT/archives/2009/10/
Unknown command
This has been working fine up till now.
It logs into the server OK and uploads part of the blog. Then it fails.
What am I doing wrong? I have not changed the publishing settings, and I have no idea what the Unknown command is. This has happened in the past, but it was a transient effect so I attributed it to network noise. This time I cannot get by the problem.
Why is the STOR for entry_9.php OK and the STOR for entry_1.php is not? It makes no sense.
This is the type of fatal error that makes a tool useless. I am just about to give up on TAMB. If I cannot publish my blog, then what is the use of it?
Thanks
Brian

I must apologize for over-reacting in my previous post.
After I calmed down, I searched this forum for "Error publishing file" and found a suggestion to use Passive mode for the upload. I tried that and the upload worked. I don't know if that fixed the problem, or if there was a problem at the server, which is more likely.
Anyway, my blog got published, so I must retract my threat to abandon TAMB.
I probably should not have posted this in "Bugs" either, but rather in "Help". Next time I will take a few deep breaths before I start flagging bugs.
Thanks to all
Brian

Hi Banjo:
Don't worry about it. We've all been there before.
The fact that you are enthusuastic and passionate about TAMB doesn't make you just a fair-weather fan, like the way ...

Thanks for the supportive words. I have actually invested quite a bit of time in figuring out how to use TAMB, which is why I got so frustrated when it would not upload.
Unfortunately, I have not been around long enough to understand the reference to ...Mark (Gazetteer)
Perhaps someone could explain it.

Just a brief update on this issue.
I tried to publish my other blog, and it failed the same way, with an "Unknown Command" error. So I set the Passive mode on and it uploaded OK. I guess that setting makes a difference.
